Unfortunately we have been forced to bring some bad news to the Southwest Florida Kratom community. As of this morning September 1, 2016 the DEA has filed a letter that will Emergency Schedule 1 Kratom making it illegal throughout the United States on September 30th. The Scheduling will last for 2 years with an option to extend 1 year. Read the DEA Letter here:
Although we would like to be optimistic and hope that we will prevail in this fight, it does not look good as we up against the DEA and FDA who have had their sights set on kratom for several years. Cirrus has arranged to maintain as much inventory as possible through the month of September, but supplies are going fast as you can imagine. We are currently securing large amounts to be sold by the Kilo at as affordable prices as we can manage. We will not be increasing our current store prices unless our suppliers do and that does not seem to be the case at the moment.
Brick and mortar shops can experience a loss of customers to the online suppliers of goods.
Shops supplying kratom are not immune.
Online vendors seem to be popping up all the time. Here are some good
reasons why customers should buy from a physical store rather than an
1. You always get free shipping.
2. You get the product immediately.
3. You don’t have to pay with a credit card; shops take cash!
4. You can actually see/smell/touch what you are buying.
5. Many Internet shops are here today, gone tomorrow.
6. You get a higher quality product from smoke shops. Farmers often sell
kratom that has been rejected by large distributors to online suppliers.
In addition, we offer our customers the highest quality Kratom brands available, plus;
1. You will get a safe product. Kratom is grown and processed in a Third World
country. It can have many different, potentially deadly bacteria and/or contaminants present.
Our kratom is tested to eliminate the possibility of e coli, salmonella,
lead, even arsenic (all of which have been found in kratom).
2. You will get pure kratom. We do not add anything to our kratom. Some
vendors have been adding phenibut or other addictive substances to their
kratom. Others have been caught using a technique known as misting (spraying
kratom with a liquid form of a potentially dangerous drug). We do not engage
in either of these unscrupulous activities.
3. You will get potent kratom. We buy from farmers who consistently supply
kratom with high alkaloid levels. We test to insure this high quality is
4. You will get a product that is supporting
the fight to keep kratom LEGAL.

As you may know, the original Vivazen was taken off the market last year. Only a fake ‘original formula’ Vivazen is on the market now. A fake from parts unknown, with the quality and public health risks that come with a fake. Make sure that you verify your Viva Zen purchase at the site below.
This site was established by Vivazen to educate consumers about fake Vivazen products that have recently hit store shelves. Here you can verify if products you’ve already purchased are authentic, learn how to spot fakes and what to look for to ensure the products you are buying are original Vivazen, manufactured by United Naturals, Inc., the only company that legally makes the product.
Fake Vivazen products have been seen at a few online retailers, as well as on store shelves in Alabama, Georgia and New Jersey, but they may be in more locations across the U.S. Beware before buying and watch for a suspiciously low price. If you may have purchased a fake, do not consume and contact the Vivazen customerhotline.
Vivazen is committed to providing our customers with the quality products they expect and is extremely concerned with the introduction of these fake products on store shelves. That’s why we’re taking action to protect our customers and the product they love. On December 10, 2015 we filed a legal complaint against the manufacturers and distributors illegally producing and selling fake Vivazen. We take this matter very seriously and will pursue legal action against any and all entities making or selling Vivazen. Read the full complaint.

*** FLORIDA ACTION ALERT! YOUR HELP IS NEEDED! ***
Your help is needed to keep kratom legal in the state of Florida. A bill has been introduced by Rep. Kristin Jacobs to make kratom a schedule 1 drug, which would put it in the same category as cocaine. Please read this article and reach out to our law makers so that they can understand why kratom should remain legal in Florida.
Please read through this in its entirety, it’s long but has everything you need to know and do to help keep kratom legal in Florida.
Florida State House Bill 73 (HB 73), sponsored by Rep. Kristin Jacobs, a bipartisan bill with 3 additional co-sponsors, would make Kratom a schedule 1 controlled substance, illegal in the state of Florida. Here’s what you can do NOW to help keep kratom legal in Florida.
HB 73, which now has a Senate companion bill (SB 1182), must work its way through three committees before it goes to a full House vote. Each committee must have a public hearing after which its either “passed” and moved onto the next committee, or it dies. The Senate bill must go through the same process. Once the bills make it out of all 3 committees each, they are voted on the full “floor” of the House (meaning a public vote of all members) and the full floor of the Senate. If they pass by majority vote by both chambers and are identical, they move on to be signed into law by the Governor, with an effective date of October 1, 2016. If they aren’t identical, they go through what’s called “reconciliation;” we’ll cover that process later if needed.
HB 73 is now in the Criminal Justice Subcommittee and we need 1) E-MAILS and 2) PHONE CALLS!
If it moves to another committee, we’ll alert you and provide you with a new list of contacts, so save your e-mails. SB 1182 has not yet been assigned to any committees. The three committees HB 73 must go through are:
Criminal Justice Subcommittee (contact committee members now!)
Justice Appropriations Subcommittee
Last year the AKA and the BLD stopped both bills at the committee level and we’re hoping for a repeat this year but we can’t do it without YOU, especially FLORIDA RESIDENTS.
1) SENDING E-MAILS – WHAT/WHO TO WRITE:
To the Honorable ______ (or, for a mass email just write in the subject “To the honorable members of Criminal Justice Sub-Committee regarding HB-73)
Chairman, Vice Chairman, or write “distinguished member of the Criminal Justice Sub-Committee of the great state of Florida”
Dear Mr. Trujillo, the Honorable Chairman of the Judicial Subcommittee of the great state of Florida,
My name is ________, I’m a __-year old __________ from _________ and I’d like to voice my concern about HB 73, a bill currently being reviewed by the distinguished committee, then:
-How you came to use Kratom
-What ailments you suffer from, what previous treatments didn’t work (prescriptions, surgery, etc.), how long you’ve been dealing with your ailments, how long you’ve been using Kratom and how many/what medications you’ve been able to quit.
-What Kratom means to you (has it given you your life back, have you gone back to work, can you play with your kids on the floor, exercise or travel, etc., something anecdotal about why Kratom is important and should be available).
-Conclusion: Kratom is a safe alternative to pharmaceutical drugs with important medicinal uses and has changed my life, so I’m asking you to please vote against HB 73.
If you have questions about kratom, please visit www.americankratom.org and thank you for your time and your service to the state.
Please be concise and polite, keep it as short as possible and remember their aides are probably the ones reading these and once they notice someone being combative or argumentative, they’ll just move on.
